    Manaure, Uribia and Cabo de la Vela

    Your trip starts at 08:30 am in Riohacha, from there you will leave for Manaure, it will be a tour of 1 hour. In the Manaure Salt Flats you will visit the ponds where they extract salt in an artisanal way, the tour will be done in the company of a guide from the community. Then they will make a technical stop in Uribia to buy snacks, go to the bathroom. You will leave for Cabo de La Vela, it will be a journey of 2 hours approx. When you arrive, you will have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you will visit the most important points of Cabo de La Vela, as they are, Playa Arcoiris, a place famous for the beautiful rainbows that are formed when the water collides with the rocks. After you will hike up the Pilón de Azúcar, sacred place of the Wayúu community and you will have time to rest or take a bath in Playa Dorada, the sunset you can see it in Playa Ojo de Agua or in El Faro, this will depend on the bathing time in the previous destinations.

    Punta Gallinas, Dunas de Taroa

    After breakfast you will leave for Punta Gallina, passing first by the wind farm, Bahía Portete, Bahía Honda where you will take lunch. After a short rest, you will follow the tour to the famous and imposing Dunas de Taroa that meet the magnificent caribbean sea. You will have time to immerse yourself in the icy waters of the sea, then you will leave to the Mirador de Casares to enjoy the beautiful view of the bay, then you will go to the northernmost point of South America, El Faro de Punta Gallinas. After appreciating the beautiful sunset we will go to the lodge where you will have dinner and rest.

     After breakfast you will leave for the beaches of Mayapo, it will be a tour of 3 hours approx. Upon arrival, you will have a lunch that will bring together some of the most exquisite dishes of the Guajira cuisine. You will have time to enjoy Mayapo beach, one of the must-see destinations on your trip to La Guajira. This area is ideal for water sports, as there are good winds, good waves and sandy beaches. At mid-afternoon and after a tour of approx. 40 minutes, you will reach Riohacha to the hotel where you have the reservation or take the transport to your next destination.
